Help Me Go To Survivor Conference 2024

THE RETURN

Since 2020, the YACC Survivor Conference has been virtual (read my article about that here). This year it's back to an in-person format! I look forward to seeing other survivors I've met before and others to make friends with, too.

Although I went into remission 7 years ago, this year has felt the heaviest--with several from my "diagnosis cohort" losing their lives to cancer, and my own healing after years of only focusing on something or someone else that needed attention. This year's Conference feels important to me... a return to true post-traumatic growth in myself.

THE ASK

While the registration cost has been taken care of, thanks to YACC, I am looking for help with accommodations from Dec 5-8 in Toronto. The average cost for 3 nights will be $650. If I can raise more, the amount will be donated to YACC to help fund other attendees' stays.
