Hi Everyone,
Thank you for taking time out of your day to read about my story.
My name is Perel Sarah Blum I’m 18 years old and I live in Highland Park, New Jersey.
The past 4 years of high-school have not been very easy for me to say the least.
I unfortunately did not find a school that matched my needs. I went from bais yakov, to a special education program to a kiruv school. Although I am grateful for those experiences because they shaped me into who I am, I really am IYH looking forward to sit in a class as I haven’t for a very long time because I am finishing high school online.
I thought about making a go fund me a while ago but my parents assured me I wouldn’t need to do it.
Unfortunately, over the past few months things have taken a very unfortunate turn for my family.
My grandparents on my mother’s side took a turn for the worse and between the medical expenses and school for my 3 other siblings it seems like I may not be able to go to seminary.
Going to Isreal would be critical for me to learn and grow spiritually and mentally and it would be my light at the end of everything I’ve been through and everything going on for me.
My goal is to raise 15 thousand dollars and I don’t want people to think I’m bad at fundraising, so please if you can give generously
