I am trying to raise money so that I can compete for Victoria in the Interstate Masters for rowing this year, which will be taking place at the end of May in Sydney 2025. Being apart of the star team to represent Victoria is an amazing opportunity, which I am thankful for being chosen.

I am a para-athlete which was never part of my dreams when growing up however, 11 years ago I lost my leg in an above knee amputation which has obviously changed my life. I didn’t want to lose anymore than I already have so I became more motivated to not let my loss take over my life. I have maintained the thoughts that nothing can stop me except for myself and I won’t let that happen.

Now my obstacle that is in my way is money, sadly I am unable to completely cover the costs of getting to Sydney. Although I have covered the costs of travelling to other events it is expensive and builds up, I am unable to cover the cost to compete in Sydney. I have tried to see if my club can help cover the cost but they are unable to assist me, as well as getting sponsors. They have been able to help a little which I appreciate however I am still falling short. If you are able to help in any way thank you.

I have competed in many events over the last couple of years and have received both gold and silver medals in majority of my events.

My events this year have been:

Nagambie 15/3/2025- I placed 2nd in my para single skull event.

Nagambie 22/3/2025- I placed 2nd in the Victorian State Masters in my para single event.

Ballarat 29/03/2025- I placed 1st in my doubles, then 2nd in my single para event.

My upcoming events are:

Nagambie 3rd and 4th- Single, Double para races as well as an able bodied event.

I will also be representing Bendigo in a local regatta.

Then I am going to Sydney at the end of May for the Interstate Masters.
