Help me go to hawaii for a choir experience
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Sage For those of you who don't know me, I am a sophomore that goes to
Central Highschool in St. Paul. I live in a duplex on the West Side with my mom and we have a
dog and a cat and a grandma downstairs
My favorite part of going to central is their music program. I play trumpet and sing as a baritone in choir. In 2023 I played at the MN Honors Winds concert at Gustavus College and in a concert performed at the Ordway for the St. Paul Honors Choir. These were opportunities that I will
cherish forever, and I have grown so much from each challenge and experience.
Most recently, I was selected as the only student from Central HS to participate in a nation-wide
Honors Choir event in Hawaii I am so honored to have this opportunity and am excited for
what will likely be the trip of a life-time. However, there is one minor challenge that this presents: The trip cost totals just over $4,000.
I have saved up about $1,000 already, but would like to ask anyone who believes in opportunities like this to donate whatever you can to help me reach my goal of $4,000. I humbly ask for your
support which will allow me the ability to explore music with students who are passionate about
music from all over the country, Making connections that could last a lifetime in such a beautiful place as Hawaii, Please
help me achieve this goal, this trip, this dream. It will take a village!
I apreciate you taking the time to read my story and ask that you pass this along to share with members of your
own community who share a love of music, learning and performing arts
Having the ability to explore the art of working and creating together in harmony has priceless lessons that will be able to apply in many ways throughout my life. Any amount helps, and for anyone who donates over $100.00, you will receive a special token of my appreciation.
