Help Me Go on My First Mission Trip to Ecuador!

Hi friends and family,

I am so excited to share that I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Ecuador with my church on May 25th! I will be traveling with 15 other students and adult chaperones to serve the local community through outreach projects, including building, painting, drywall installation, landscaping, connecting with local children, leading worship services, and more.

This trip means so much to me because I love using my gifts to serve others and grow in my faith. I currently play guitar every Sunday at The Bridge Church and lead worship for my Wednesday night youth group at The Torch. Outside of church, I stay busy as an honor student at Lumpkin County High School, a high jump and pole vault athlete on the track team, a wrestler for my high school, a marching band member where I play the trombone, and a singer in the honors chorus. I was also recently contracted with Atlanta CV, a competitive drum corps where I play the euphonium, which is such an exciting new adventure!

Although I stay busy with school and activities, my focus remains on God and growing as a faithful servant to Jesus. This mission trip is an opportunity for me to step outside my comfort zone and share His love through service, worship, and community outreach. I truly believe that God has a purpose for me on this trip, and I can't wait to see how He works in me and through me.

This will be my first time traveling out of the country, and I just got my first passport last week—how exciting! In order to go on this life-changing trip, I need to raise $1,600, and I would be so grateful for any support. If 16 people donate $100, or 32 people donate $50, I will reach my goal! But truly, any amount helps, and I appreciate every single person who contributes or shares this with others.

I am so excited to see how God works in me and through me on this journey, and I can’t wait to serve and love on the people of Ecuador. Thank you so much for supporting me in this adventure—I couldn’t do it without you!
