Help Me Give This Sweet Soul A Home

Hi Lake Family. ❤️

I am adopting this little sweetheart and I would need help and support with the financial costs. Her name is Noma. Also known as Mama, Mamacita, Nomacita and even Rima. Her local Tz'utujil name from the village is Yak'anch (I believe it's how it's spelled.) As you can see, she has been named by the whole village.

If you have already met her, you know how pure her soul is and how much she deserve a home. ✨️ (Even though she is also a little trouble maker. Haha.)

I met her at the Mystical Yoga Farm close to Santiago, Sololá, Guatemala.

When I first saw her two months ago, she was pregnant. Unfortunately she lost her baby somewhere in the jungle.. probably a miscarriage. She came back after to seek a shelter from the rainy nights. Shivering in the rain, looking for a warm and safe place to sleep. On the 3rd of June, she came to me, limping. I sat with her, trying to heal her little leg with my warm touch and energy. That's all I could do at the moment since the farm is quite far away and isolated from any vet clinic. But since that day, I started to think about it. Everytime I was crossing her path, it grew stronger in me. I knew. I had to give her a home. Even though none of it makes sense logically, it makes sense to my soul. So I took her to the vet to give her the basic needs she deserves. She is now healthy with all the vaccines she needs and she received fleas / ticks / worms / parasites treatment and prevention. She is also now spayed, so she can't be pregnant again. I alteady paid for her travel papers to be done and will get a travel kennel delivered to me on Friday. I just need to pay for her flight tickets wich is complicated and very very very expensive since I will need to fly through Mexico to go back to Canada. (Guatemalan dogs are not allowed to fly through the US..) And there is no direct flights from here to Canada.

This whole trip is going to be a hustle.. but I know deep in my heart that I am doing the right thing. I trust that the universe is supporting me and that I will receive the help I need to make this work. I am not doing it for me, I am doing it for her. ❤️

So please, if you can send even just 1$, that would support her journey and will encourage me more than you could imagine. The whole process is going to cost around 2 000$ - 2 500$. Her sweet soul truly deserves it. ❤️

The other part of this story is that I did the same last year. I adopted a dog that was slowly dying in the streets of San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala. Her name is Lunita and she has now a very loving home back in Canada. ✨️ It costed me around 6 000$ to save her from dying.. With a lot of luck, I received some financial help through Gofundme. Some friends encouraged me to do one again even though I always feel so bad for asking. So I am daring to ask again with a lot of humility. ❤️ I know that Lunita would be so happy to have a lake sister to play with her!
