Hi everyone. My name is Kimi but you may also know me as Kim aka Miss Kim aka Ms. Limon. My dad's name was Alan, but I always just called him Dad or Pa. I was definitely a daddy's girl growing up, and a lot of his best qualities were passed down to become some of mine. So if you like me, there's a good chance you probably liked or would have liked my dad. He was a kind dad to me but he unfortunately wasn't as kind to himself in recent years. The beginning of the end was when he received his diagnosis of Stage Four Stomach Cancer in January 2020. Imagine my fear in 2020 of my dad not only potentially succumbing to Cancer while sheltering-in-place away from me during a pandemic, but potentially being infected with the virus during his most vulnerable health period of his entire life. Thankfully, he was able to make it one year and six months before passing away due to I guess complications from the damage his body sustained due to his diagnosis and the harsh treatments he was undergoing (chemo, kidney dialysis, physical therapy, etc).

For a long time, I didn't feel comfortable setting up a Gofundme because I figured the impending funeral costs could be covered if spread amongst our family members... But family politics and financial support are like oil and water so I'm not holding my breath for certain family members to come through. Hence why this donation page was born.

Otherwise, all funds raised here will be used to cover funeral costs and any leftovers will be used to help me tie up loose ends that my dad may have had and/or be donated to Providence Holy Cross Foundation in Mission Hills (https://supportholycross.org) since that hospital took good care of my dad while he was there.
