Help Me Give Mom a Proper Farewell

Hi everyone,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. My mom, Linda, is in palliative care at Credit Valley Hospital, and while we’re doing our best to cherish the time we have left, we’re also facing the difficult reality of planning her farewell.

Mom had a hard life, facing more struggles than most, but she never let that stop her from giving everything she could to those she loved. She was strong, kind, and always put others before herself, even when she had little to give. Now, as we prepare to say goodbye, we want to make sure she has the dignity and respect she deserves.

Unfortunately, she had no life insurance, and while we are doing what we can to cover the funeral costs, it is an added financial strain during an already difficult time. We’re not asking for the full cost to be covered, but any help would mean so much and would go toward easing the burden.
