hi everyone. this is one of the hardest things i’ve ever had to write.

if you know me, you know max is so much more than just my dog, he’s my best friend. he’s been by my side through everything, the good and the bad, and he’s been such a huge part of my life for so long. he’s the kind of dog that loves his people so deeply, always wants to be close, always wants love, and has given me so much comfort over the years. he really is such a good boy.

this decision is absolutely breaking my heart. i’ve spent years trying to help him, putting him through training, doing everything i possibly could to make things better. but despite all of that, he’s still unpredictable and has struggled with aggression.

after what happened with my baby, i had to really face the reality of the situation. as much as i love him, i can’t ignore the safety concerns anymore, especially with my baby. that’s what ultimately brought me to this decision.

as much as i wish love alone could fix everything, it hasn’t been enough in this situation, and i have to make the most responsible and humane choice for everyone involved, including him.

i’m asking for help to cover the cost of his cremation so i can give him a proper, peaceful goodbye and keep him close to me. anything helps more than you know, even just sharing this means everything to me.
