Help Me Give Back to Amazing People in Indonesia
Spende geschützt
I’ve been staying at a hostel in Canggu, Bali, for a while now, and it’s hard to put into words how deeply I’ve connected with the staff here. These incredible people are some of the kindest, most generous souls I’ve ever met. Always smiling, always caring—no matter what.
What’s been hard to accept is that, despite working long, exhausting days, they earn around 100,000 rupiah a day—that’s about $6 USD. For many of us, that’s what we might spend on a coffee or a drink. For them, it’s a full day’s wage.
And yet, they greet everyone with warmth, laughter, and kindness that feels limitless. Even with so little, they give so much.
For my birthday in May, I don’t want gifts or parties. I want to give something back—a meaningful thank you, in the form of money that could ease some of their burden or simply bring them joy.
If you’ve ever traveled to places like Bali, if you’ve ever been touched by the kindness of strangers, or if you just want to do something good—please consider donating.
No amount is too small. Together, we can make a real difference for people who give so much to others, often with so little for themselves.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me make this happen.
