Hi, my name is Dawn. I never thought I would be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but life has taken a turn I wasn’t prepared for. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and I am trying to navigate treatment on my own. I don’t have children, I’m divorced, and I’m learning what it means to face something this serious without a strong support system beside me.

Right now, one of my biggest challenges is transportation. I don’t have a reliable car, and getting to my medical appointments has become extremely difficult and stressful. Missing or delaying treatment isn’t an option, but I also don’t have the means to fix this on my own. I am asking for help raising funds to get a dependable used car so I can get to and from my cancer treatments safely, attend all necessary medical appointments without fear of missing them, maintain some independence during this incredibly difficult time, and visit my family, who mean everything to me—especially now, when time feels uncertain.
