Hi some of you know me some of you don’t.

I am Evan and I’m a scout from 1st Crewkerne, Somerset.

I am one of the lucky scouts to have made the selection for the World Scout Jamboree in Poland 2027.

I along with 35 other scouts will be part of Somerset contingent unit 58.

i have a whole year of training sessions and training weekends to come but at the same time I will be out and about fundraising.

WSJ Poland 2027 is the 26th Jamboree and to get there I need to raise £3,650 it’s a lot of money but this will cover travel, insurance, food and activities at the Jamboree for the whole 3 weeks.

i will get to meet and make friends with scouts from all around the world.

this is massive and the most amazing opportunity I am lucky enough to have, this will be the pinnacle of my scouting career so far.
