Help me get to The National Youth Theatre!

Hello! My name is Sarah and on the 10th of May 2023 I found out that I've been accepted into The National Youth Theatre.
For those of you who aren't too familiar with The National Youth Theatre, NYT is a renowned youth arts charity that provides one-of-a-kind, accessible arts training and opportunities for young people like myself who can't afford to go to drama school.
These opportunities are life-changing and enable aspiring young creatives to access the industry and work with the UK's leading directors, actors, writers and producers.
Over the years NYT has supported actors such as Daniel Day-Lewis, Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Kate Winslet, Colin Firth, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Idris Elba. This year over 6,000 people auditioned and I am absolutely over the moon to have been accepted this year into such a prestigious programme. (Somebody pinch me)
Being accepted into The National Youth Theatre is an absolute dream of mine as having this opportunity is enabling me to move to London to start a new, very exciting chapter and chase my dreams of becoming an actor.
Despite being so fantastic at supporting young people faced with economic barriers, there is limited funding that NYT can provide for members, and although I am applying for a bursary to help cover the fees, members are strongly encouraged to raise the money independently to help cover the remaining costs.
In total, the cost I need to raise in order to complete my training is £1,457. This includes accommodation costs in London and my training.
Any contributions whatsoever will be GREATLY appreciated!
Thank you so so much for taking the time to read and thank you for supporting me on this very exciting journey :)
Warmest wishes,
Sarah xx
