Hi, my name is Su and I'm the British and European Champion and runner up in the World Masters Championships in Powerlifting for over 70s.

I have been competing for 6 years having had a previous love affair with bodybuilding. However my true love is the squat, bench and deadlift. This love has brought all over the world, from recently competing in Cape Town to now finding myself defending my European title in Finland in February 2026.

However, as you no doubt imagine, there's not any money in over 70s powerlifting - who would have thought! Everything we do is self funded. From the drugs testing, to the travel, accommodation, supplements, coaching, rehab / recovery and training gear. It all adds up to be an expensive sport!

I would greatly appreciate any generous donations to help me continue to push my dream and to prove to everyone out there that life in your 70s is as enriching and fulfilling as you make it.
