I have been invited to participate in the Medicine National Youth Leadership Forum this summer. The camp is being held at UCLA or UC Berkeley. By attending this camp, I will get first hand experience with medical procedures through observation, simulation, and hand on training. I will have the opportunity to learn to suture, take blood pressure, perform neurological exams, and much more. My career path is to one day become a surgeon and this camp gives me the opportunity to explore the medical field.
