Help me get to Renaissance polyphony camp!

Hello friends and family!
I am so thrilled to have been accepted to the Cut Circle Summer Institute for Renaissance Polyphony. This is a five-day intensive program focusing on choral music of the Renaissance, specifically that of Josquin des Prez. As you may know, I am currently pursuing a dual Master of Music degree in vocal performance and choral conducting. This is one of the only summer programs of its kind and I’m so excited for the chance to improve my skills as an ensemble singer and a choir director, and to work with other talented singers who love early music as much as I do.
My remaining tuition for this program is $600, plus $500 for room and board. This is an incredibly reasonable price point for this kind of program, but as a full time graduate student working 4 jobs, it’s a somewhat prohibitive cost. My hope is, with your help, to raise $1000 towards tuition and housing costs.
I will be staying on campus at UC Berkeley for the duration of the program, and rooming with my friend and fellow conducting student Hannah Kimball. Tuition covers private coachings with music faculty from Stanford, Princeton, and UC Berkeley, masterclasses, workshops, and sheet music. The program entails forming new ensembles with the other attendees and preparing a final concert for the last day, as well as a number of group classes and workshops on various early music topics.
Last year, I recorded this video with some of my friends as part of my application to join Voces8. It didn’t get me far in that realm, but I hope you enjoy Ēriks Ešenvalds‘ “Only In Sleep.” Though this is contemporary chamber music, it represents the kind of ensemble singing I love and want to keep doing for the rest of my life.
Thank you!
