Help Me Get To Oregon to attend Tin House!

Hi, I'm Linda, and I'm a writer who just got accepted to the Tin House Autumn Workshop for Short Fiction ! I applied to the workshop in order to get dedicated and guided time and attention to the craft and practice of creating a short story. I work full-time and manage a chronic illness and have to carve out these spaces whenever I can, so I am very happy for this opportunity!

Many of you have read my work and/or listened to me lament the slow pace of publishing. Attending the workshop will allow me to devote all of my time to moving a piece of writing from draft to polished piece. In addition, I will have the rare opportunity to spend time with fellow writers and Tin House faculty, and will get to attend the Portland Book Festival!

I'm asking for help to pay for tuition, travel, lodging, and doggie day care.
