Help Me Get to New York for Life saving Surgery

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you during one of the most challenging times in my life. As many of you know, I have been battling a serious medical condition that has caused me excruciating pain and has left me feeling hopeless at times. I have been battling endometriosis for years and has now reached stage four: (deep infiltrated endometriosis) across multiple organs. Currently my colon and bladder are tethered/infused together to my uterus, causing unimaginable pain. I also have some complications with fluid and swelling in my fallopian tubes. It being as complex across multiple organs specifically puts me at high risk for surgery.

After a recent scare and medical emergency that resulted in a 5 day hospital stay and numerous consultations with specialists here in Texas, I have been informed that my condition is too high-risk and that they are unable to perform the potentially life-saving surgery I need due to the multiple organs that are involved and the level of skills needed to successfully treat me. Meanwhile the clock is ticking not only for a potential rupture if things aren’t addressed timely but daily pain that is only eased by prescribed narcotics and only getting worse with each passing day.

After extensive research and discussions with medical professionals, I have found a specialist in New York who has the experience and expertise to perform this surgery with an assisted team of doctors accross specialities and who is willing to take the risk. This is a Doctor, who knows my case well and whom I have seen before is also a believer. He gives all credit to God for his skills! My only barrier is getting to him. The financial burden of traveling to New York and covering the costs of the surgery itself is overwhelming. Especially given the short amount of time in which I need to come up with the funds.

I am currently out of work due to my medical condition and my amazing husband is working hard to keep the rest of our finances in order with all our other bills. Hence why I am turning to you, my friends and family, for support.

I am asking for your help to raise funds for:

1. **Transportation**: Travel expenses to get to New York and back home as well as Lodging in NY

2. ** 100% out of pocket office visit costs to see the specialist
