These are my parents, Fred & Jonnie (Sarajane) Ockerlund. First of all, I am embarrassed to even do this. The last 8 months of my life have been very difficult. I have a brother who made me lose my business, my home, & my parents. That happened in February, and I became homeless. My dad died in May, & then my mom died on August 1. Fortunately, I have a very kind brother who has taken me in, and we live in Mississippi.

After months of applying for jobs, I finally got a job but won’t get paid till my probation period is over in November.

My parents' memorial service is in Wheaton, IL, on November 15th. I cannot afford airfare or have money to spend while I’m there for food or Ubers/taxis. Airfare is about $250.

If anyone would be kind enough to help me get there, etc., it would be greatly appreciated.

Their service will be at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton, where they were married and were long-time members.
