Hi everyone!

My name is Matt Dykman, I am a Trampoline gymnast from Vancouver, BC, specializing in Double-Mini Trampoline. I have been ranked on the Canadian National Team for the last 2 years and am super happy to announce that I have recently qualified for Team Canada to compete at the 2023 World Age Group Championships November 16th- 20th in Birmingham, UK! I will be competing in the 17-21 age category (highest category in the competition).

This will be my first competition back on the international stage since 2018, where I represented Team Canada at the World Age Group Championships held in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Representing Canada is a huge honour, but unfortunately the sport’s expenses are very costly as Trampoline Gymnastics is a relatively new sport. Funding is very hard to come by so I have had to make difficult choices in the past and choose which competitions I can travel to. My family has been supporting me for the last 10 years of participating in this sport, making sacrifices to fund my passion. I have very big goals I am hoping to achieve in the future, like competing at the Senior World Championships in the coming years, but I won’t be able to do it without help from everyone reading this!

Any help will be greatly appreciated and used towards travel, accommodation and training expenses.
