Help Me Get to IPFC – A Dream Since My Undergrad Days!

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I'm reaching out to share an exciting opportunity that has been on my bucket list since my undergraduate days: attending the Indo-Pacific Fish Conference (IPFC). This year, it's a joint conference of the Asian Society of Ichthyologists Annual Meeting and the 12th Indo-Pacific Fish Conference (June 9-13 in Taipei, Taiwan). This meeting is a cornerstone event in my field, offering invaluable networking and learning opportunities that are crucial for advancing my research on Fish Evolution and Systematics (Fish-ES).

My oral presentation, “From Codfishes to Rattails: Resolving Long-standing Taxonomic Challenges through Phylogenomics,” has already been accepted. However, I need some help to make it there—funding is tight, and I’m trying to raise enough to cover travel and conference expenses.
