Help me get to Germany again for life-saving brain surgery

Donation protected
I know it’s a tricky time with Christmas, but please dig deep for Ailsa. She’s fighting bloody hard for her kids and herself. Her first round in Germany was 92,000 euro. This time it’s 62,000 euro. You can imagine the strain and decisions her family are making. I'm Zara, Ailsa's friend from primary school, doing a second round of fundraising for her.

From Ailsa:

In 2022, I was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumour called PPTID — only four reported cases in Australia. Since then, I’ve endured multiple surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and even an anaphylactic reaction to treatment.

Earlier this year, thanks to the incredible support of family, friends, and strangers, I travelled to Germany for major brain surgery that removed over 95% of the tumour. Unfortunately, my latest scans show that it has returned again.

My German neurosurgeon believes he can safely remove it once more, and I’m preparing to travel back for surgery — this time organising it directly with his team to reduce costs. Afterward, I’ll have further radiation at home.

There’s no clear roadmap for treating this tumour, but I have so much to fight for — especially my beautiful little family. ❤️

Any donation or share truly makes a difference and helps give me another chance at life.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
