Help me get to GDC 2024!

Hey! My name is Tiger and I live in Australia! I'm an entry-level game developer but I'm trying so hard to be more than just an entry-level developer.

I've wanted to go to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco for years, for both learning and networking, to get my name out there and soak in information from the veterans of the games industry.

Unfortunately, I moved out while still in high school, basically stunting my finances. Ever since I've moved out I've been fighting to pay bills and to get into the games industry. I'm still fighting to pay bills now that I've made it to the industry. This was only made worse as I had been diagnosed with epilepsy in 2023, and the costs that come with that have only made it harder for me.

I've been fortunate to receive a diversity and hardship scholarship to attend GDC in March this year! However, the scholarship doesn't cover accommodation or travel expenses. I'm doing what I can to get the funds together to attend, but the scholarship organisation needs to know if I can attend ASAP. If I can't go, I don't know if I'll be able to go again for years.

The funds would specifically go to a round-trip flight from Australia to San Francisco and accommodation for a week.

This fundraiser is me shooting for the stars. It would mean the world to me if you could support me at all! Every dollar takes so much pressure off of me.
