Help me get to Commonwealth”s

Hi for those who don’t know me, my name is Sharon Holmes and I’m 52 years old (eeek!) I have been powerlifting since 2016 and have competed internationally for Great Britain 4 times and the generosity of so many lovely people helped me get to Canada in 2022 for the World Powerlifting Championships where I came 3rd narrowly missing 2nd place on body weight. I’ve been given the opportunity to lift for England at the Commonwealth powerlifting championships in October in Sun City South Africa. This is my first time lifting for England and first time going to Commonwealth.  What I’m asking for is the price of a coffee, let’s say £3 to help pay towards the outbound flight. I don’t expect anyone to put their hands in their pockets again after being so generous for Canada but if any donations can even help to cover the flight out or part of it, then it means I can use any opportunities I have to work extra to go towards the rest. The flight’s have been booked and they were £926 so if I raise £300 it will cover some of the outbound journey.  Powerlifting is a self funded sport and sometimes we just need to ask for a little help from
