I’m reaching out because an unexpected injury has left me temporarily unable to work, and I could really use some support while I recover.

After losing my car, I had to rely on public transportation to get to and from work. While walking home from the bus stop in icy conditions after work, I slipped and fell and was injured. That fall has taken me out of work for the time being.

Unfortunately, I don’t have access to disability coverage. My employer’s short-term disability benefits do not begin until 2026, and because this injury happened before that coverage period, I don’t qualify. That means I currently have no income while still needing to cover basic living expenses.

Funds raised here will go toward rent, utilities, household expenses, groceries, and medical-related costs while I heal.
