My name is Katie Grindeland, and I have been a dispatcher at BOEC for 15 years. I am raising money to help my son, Duncan Goddard, with his move to law school in the fall. I am a single mom to two wonderful kids in college, and I supplement their scholarships with Parent PLUS loans and working a whole lot of overtime. Duncan will be graduating this June from the University of Oregon in Eugene with a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Economics and Political Science, and a minor in Legal Studies, and I am extremely proud of his hard work and academic success. With the help of friends, family, co-workers, and community members, I am hoping to raise $2500 to help get him moved this fall. He has been accepted at several schools out of state, and will most likely be attending the University of Texas at Austin (a Tier 1 law school), and I would love to have some help getting him moved there and providing him a little bit of money to get him started.
