Help Me Get These Infected Teeth Out of My Head

Hi! I'm Emily, but many online know me as Naya. I'm writing this today with extreme hesitation, as I HATE asking for financial help. However, it's to the point where I can no longer hang onto my pride at the expense of mine and my family's funds, which are scarce.

My wisdom teeth have been infecting my jaw on and off since October 2024. I was uninsured entirely when the problems began. While I've since been able to afford dental insurance for the year, I still don't have general health insurance, as my state's cap for Medicaid is just under what I need to make per month to pay the rest of my bills, effectively pricing me out of healthcare.

But the infections keep coming, and eventually, they're bound to cause even more dire problems, so I need to get these teeth out as soon as possible. I've been using credit cards and a bit of help to pay for things like pre-op checkups thus far, but that's money that needs to be paid back at a faster rate than what I can afford.

Unfortunately, it's necessary for me to go under general anesthesia for this procedure. My bottom two teeth are located precariously close to the nerve and half-embedded in my jaw, one of the top ones is incredibly close to my sinuses, and the last is the deeply rotten one that has been infecting me on and off for half a year now. The rest of my teeth are, and I quote my dentist, "beautiful;" I just need to get over this insurmountable financial hump to get back into a good place.

Below is a breakdown of the financial situation I'm looking at. Even paying off one of these things would be a great help.

EXTRACTIONS: $450

ANESTHESIA/GENERAL MEDICAL EXPENSES: $1600

PRE-OP CHECK-UP: $275

PRE-OP BLOODWORK: $192

As it stands, my surgery is scheduled for June 2nd. At that time, all payment is due upfront - this is the $2,050 portion, though I was warned the number could very well get higher depending on how the surgery goes.

I really, really hate doing this, but I've run out of options. If you could spare anything to help a disabled, self-employed baddie out in this hellhole we call America, I'd appreciate you more than anything. It's a cliche, but every little bit really does help.
