Hi. First and foremost, thank you for reading my post. This is hard and something I've been dealing with my entire adult life. I have a 5cm fibroid sitting right smack in the middle of my uterus. I've always had heavy periods that were accompanied with extremely painful cramps and fatigue because I was bleeding and clotting so much. I've been bleeding, clotting and in pain for the past three weeks and working with my OB through solutions. All the non surgical options are temporary so the best option for me to gain quality of life is to get a hysterectomy.

I have an okay insurance but have already been told I have to cover almost $2,500 out of pocket and I know it's only the beginning because I have to stay over night at the hospital and don't know yet the cost of anesthesia. I hope that $5,000 will cover everything I have to pay out of pocket or at least get me as close as possible.
