Help me get the care and prescriptions I need!

Hi everyone,
As many of you know I have battled with diabetes and kidney disease for many years of my life. It's been a rocky road of ups and downs however my latest battle has really tested my strength. It started Feb 12, 2024 when i was fortunate enough to receive a kidney/pancreas transplant. This was my 4th and 5th transplant and definitely tough on the body however I persevered. Within a few days in the hospital things started to change and I developed an infection by the pancreas. The surgeons went back in to try to fix the issue using a technique that is primarily used on non transplanted pancreas with infection. I had many reservations but the thought of being free from diabetes was so enticing. This procedure did not work and aggravated the infection further causing them to have to perform surgery yet again to remove the transplanted organ. The chance to be free from diabetes after 42 years was taken from me. I was still optimistic - the transplanted kidney was working great which meant no more dialysis for me (years on dialysis came with it's own set of complications). After over 5 weeks in Toronto General Hospital, away from my friends and family, I was released with homecare. A very strict and strong protocol of IV antibiotics for the next 6 weeks. That time dragged miserably with side effects while trying to recover from multiple major surgeries. Finally I finished my regime and looked forward to getting back on my feet and moving forward. Just as I started to make plans like a healthy person would I found myself in agony in the emergency verging on sepsis. The infection was back with a vengeance. Transferred back to Toronto General I was poked and prodded as it was confirmed the infection was spreading again. It appeared in areas too complicated and risky to drain so back on the tough butt kicking antibiotic regime. My body was tired, weak and defenseless - my mind felt the same. After a short 3 week stay away from home I returned back on homecare with my strict antibiotics. In the middle of this madness i received a letter from my private benifit company stating that I had reached my lifetime max of benefits and any further claims would be denied. This included a $5600 hospital bill for semi-private care, $1450/month injections for a blood clot formed on my lung during the initial set of surgeries and app $2500 monthly anti rejection medication to keep the kidney from being rejected. I have applied for government support which helps some but does have a pricey deductible. The one thing that no one tells you also is that life goes on while you are struggling which means the pets need food, the car needs gas and if you have my luck - repairs too. So i'm reaching out to my friends, family, their friends and families and whoever else I can reach to ask for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time. Thank you for reading my situation <3
