Hi, my name is Anabel, i am an intersex girl from Germany and i'm trying to raise funds for the prep work for my surgery! I'm honestly quite comfortable enough to tell you what it is exactly about quite yet, however i do want to at least explain a little what the money goes towards and some facts surrounding the surgery, you even might piece together what it actually is:

300€ out of the goal goes towards a course i have to take in preparation for the surgery, it will explain to me what lifestyle changes i can expect and have to follow, it'll teach me the particulars of the different types of surgery that can be performed and are extremely case dependent.

At least 150€ (it can be more, so i added some wiggle room in my calculations there, but i've most commonly heard 150€) go towards a psychological evaluation that assess my willingness to stick to upcoming lifestyle changes due to this surgery

Sports! I have to do quite a bit of sports that have to be confirmed by a third party, so i'll have to start a membership for a specialized gym course that can range up to 50-70€ a month. This includes supplies for said sports (clothes, equipment, supplements, etc.), so i added a bit to the top of the goal as well.

That around covers the costs for the prep work, at least from what i know, there could be more, but at this point, these are all the costs known to me. This prep work has to completed and stuck to for 6 months straight. Note how this doesn't cover the cost for the surgery itself, since this will be covered by my insurance AFTER i convince them that i am willing to stick to this strict regimen in the long run after the surgery has been performed.

IMPORTANT:

This is NOT a cosmetic surgery related to gender affirming care in any way or any other frivolous spending, this has nothing to do with my gender, this IS in fact a surgery that will improve my life's quality for quite possibly the rest of my life! I know it's frustrating that i'm being this vague about it, but i just feel very uncomfortable about basically my entire existence which is also one of, if not THE reason why you've never seen pictures of me. But that might change after some time if this whole ordeal is successful and i start feeling more comfortable in my own skin!

I genuinely dislike asking for money like this, but i barely have any options since i live paycheck to paycheck which leaves very little money to actually pull this off in any meaningful time frame otherwise!
