Help me get some cardiac care!

Hi, my name is Anthony (as most of you may already know!), and I’ve been struggling with some progressive health issues that have been discovered to be different forms of heart disease/defects, or suspected to be! These defects have been leaving me winded, lethargic, light headed, and downright miserable at times.

After finding a doctor that took me seriously, I have been passed to an amazing cardiologist, and we’ve been getting into the nitty gritty on why I’ve been feeling the way I am. It turns out that I have a PFO (that hole in your heart that’s supposed to close when you take your first breaths), and possible noncompaction of my ventricles (essentially, a part of my heart may not have formed correctly). I had to pay out of pocket for the diagnostics to find out these defects, despite insurance, and now have to get a CT, MRI, and a type of stress test, with the ultimate end of a possible cardiac procedure.

This is taking a toll on my work schedule, reducing the amount I get paid, and also having to pay a few thousand dollars is not quite conducive to healthy finances, (along with having outstanding balances for all of the other testing that insurance did not cover)! These are all tests that I need to have done to come to a conclusion on how to best improve my quality of life. Any amount is appreciated — even just sharing helps!
