Hello everybody,

My name is Erika and my baby Rocco needs urgent surgery. I’ve had Rocco since he was a puppy. I use to work at a doggie hotel and one day construction workers dropped him off because they found him on their site. When I saw him it was love at first sight. I was not ready to have a dog at the time but I couldn’t let him go. He’s always been such a happy go lucky dog. He loves playing with his dog toys especially his rope and he would always bring me a toy when I would get home from work everyday. But the past months he hasn’t been himself. He barely wants to go on his walks and never plays with his toys now. So I took him in to see his dr and I knew something was up with but wasn’t prepared for this.

They did an ultrasound and found 3 masses on his spleen. The smallest is 3cm and the largest is 8cm. My poor baby has been uncomfortable to say the least for months now. He needs to get his spleen removed asap! The masses can rupture at any moment. The drs said it’s common and he should do well with surgery and should be back to his old self pretty soon after. After removal they send the masses in for biopsy.

This amount doesn’t even cover the whole surgery but anything helps. I don’t have the means to makes this happen on my own unfortunately. I also have another dog who has special needs. Any amount big or tiny would be a huge help and greatly greatly appreciated. If you are not able to donate, no hard feelings at all, I still appreciate you.
