Help me get rid of Lemon Dodge Durango and Stay afloat.
Donation protected
In April of 2021 I purchased a 2017 Dodge Durango from Meador Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Fort Worth, TX. A few months later we started to have small issues with it. My friends and I or small shops around the area would fix them. Then in 2022 it broke down completely multiple times, after replacing the fuel pump 4 times and installing a new TIPM we thought we were good. We got divorced in 2022 and I was stuck with it alone. It broke down multiple times in 2023 I installed a TIPM bypass, replaced the wiring harness and the driveshaft. In 2024 It broke down 2 more times for electrical issues. I thought everything was finally fixed about halfway through 2024. I was able to drive for Uber and Lyft to pay the payments and stay afloat. On March 7th around midnight while driving for uber the Durango broke down again. The shop has stated they believe the transmission is bad but to get to a point to test the transmission it will be $3,300 then the cost of the transmission repair. I already have a couple loans out that I am paying on for previous repairs and cannot afford anymore.
I am $17,500 upside down in it, If all my friends and family could donate just 35 dollars I can pay this off. I have been supporting my ex who lost her job and 2 of her 3 children for the past couple years. With this paid off and not having to pay for it or the insurance I will be able to stay afloat. I do not ask for hand outs and I tried everything I possibly could to work my way out of this.
I know this is my responsibility and you have no obligation to help me. Any help is extremely appreciated. I am completely out of options. I promise on everything I am as a man, as a Marine and on everything I care about that all funds donated will go towards paying this off.
