Yes, I am Ola, the same person who started a fundraiser to support my studies abroad, and yes, I succeeded. You were the best people who stood by me during that time. However, today I am Ola again, seeking help for my family, who have lost everything – their home, their livelihood, and their possessions.
I was once a pampered little girl from a small, well-off family. My father worked as the owner of a household goods store in the Jabalia Refugee Camp in the Gaza Strip. He was the best father, the best worker, and the best manager. But this blessing did not last, especially with the ongoing events in my country. We managed to survive by relocating to the southern part of the Gaza Strip, leaving all of our belongings behind. Shortly after, we received the first news: our home was destroyed. Then came the second news: our warehouses, which contained all of our goods, were also destroyed.
Today, however, I received the greatest shock of all: our shops were burned down after the third invasion of Jabalia Camp. These shops were our livelihood, as well as the livelihood of many workers. They remained a source of income for many people for years, even during the ongoing war that has been imposed upon us. Unfortunately, they are now gone, along with many memories, a lot of hard work, sleepless nights, joy, and countless livelihoods. These shops were like a second home to us. They were a special place in this camp. Just ask anyone or search for "محلات أبو لوز للأدوات المنزلية"—everyone in this historic camp will speak highly of them.
Yes, this is the good reputation my father left behind. He was a hardworking, virtuous, and generous man. I am sharing this link as a small gesture to honor my father's tireless efforts and dedication. I am waiting for your support.
