### A Message from Hannah Morris

Hello, my name is Hannah Morris, and I am raising funds on behalf of my friend Randa, her husband Mofeed, and their family in Gaza.

I created this fundraiser because I want to help Randa, Mofeed, their two young children, and Mofeed’s elderly mother get through the extremely difficult circumstances they have been living through for years.

After the war began, the family was forced to flee their home, taking with them little more than the clothes and personal belongings they could carry. Shortly afterward, their home was completely destroyed. Mofeed also lost his source of income, and the family has struggled ever since to provide even their most basic needs.

I want you to hear their story directly from them.

### Randa’s Story

My name is Randa. I am a wife and a mother of two young children.

Before the war, I lived with my husband Mofeed and our children a simple and normal life. We had a home, dreams for our family, and hopes that our children would grow up safely and have a better future.

But everything changed after October 7.

We were forced to leave our home and flee, taking with us only a few clothes and personal belongings. Shortly afterward, our home was completely destroyed, along with our possessions, our memories, and everything we had built over the years.

Since then, we have been living through extremely difficult conditions and struggling to provide even the most basic necessities for our children.

Food, water, clothing, blankets, medicine, and essential supplies for our children have become incredibly difficult to afford. Prices have risen dramatically, and it has become very difficult for my husband to provide everything our family needs.

As a mother, the hardest part is watching my children live through these conditions and worrying every day that I may not be able to provide everything they need.

All I want is for my children to have a normal and safe life, and to grow up away from fear, displacement, and deprivation.

### Mofeed’s Story

My name is Mofeed, Randa’s husband and the father of our two children.

Before the war, I worked and was able to provide for my family. We had a home, an income, and a stable life, and I worked hard for my wife, my children, and my elderly mother.

But the war changed our lives completely.

I lost my home and my source of income, and I became responsible for providing for my entire family under circumstances that make even the simplest parts of daily life extremely difficult.

My mother is elderly and needs medication and care. Randa and I also have two young children, including our newborn son, who needs milk, diapers, clothing, and other essential supplies.

Every day, I worry about how I will provide food for my family, milk for my children, medicine for my mother, and protection from the cold, rain, and heat.

More than three years of war have passed, and during this time we have experienced displacement, fear, loss, and uncertainty. We have endured more than one winter and summer under extremely difficult conditions, and we are now approaching another winter without a safe and adequate home.

I am not asking for a luxurious life.

I simply want to be able to provide food, water, medicine, and basic necessities for my family, and to give my children a safer and more dignified life.

More than anything, I hope to be able to get my wife, my children, and my mother out of Gaza if a safe and legal opportunity becomes available.

I want to give my children the chance to live away from fear and displacement, to grow up somewhere they can live with dignity and safety, and to have a future they can dream about.

For this reason, the donations will not only help cover food, water, medicine, children’s supplies, and shelter. I will also try to use part of the funds to cover the costs of travel and leaving Gaza for my family if a safe and legal opportunity becomes available.

I do not know when that opportunity will come or exactly how much it will cost, but I am trying to be prepared for it. My greatest hope is to get my family away from this danger and give my children a real chance to live in peace and with dignity.

Randa and Mofeed are not asking for a luxurious life. They are simply trying to protect their children, provide for their family’s basic needs, and hold on to the hope of one day living somewhere safe and with dignity.

I created this fundraiser so that people who are able to help can stand beside this family.

Your donations will help provide food, water, medicine, clothing, children’s supplies, and shelter, while also helping the family prepare for any safe and legal opportunity to leave Gaza if one becomes available.
