Help me book Orlando Boquete!!

Hello Beautiful people!

My name is Audrey Augustave and I am the creator Un-Loc'd, a podcast exploring mental health and identity related topics through the Caribbean lens. This podcast is fully funded by myself and up until now I have been blessed with guests that have happily chosen to participate without a fee.

However, Orlando Boquete, is a man that deserve to be compensated for his attendance! To give a short synopsis, Orlando is a Cuban migrant who was wrongfully convicted of a crime, escaped from prison, and eventually got exonerated with the help of The Innocence Project. Unfortunately because he escaped prison, that in it of itself is a crime, and he is still considered a felon in the system, keeping him from collecting the financial compensation he deserves from the state of Florida that would set him up for life.

The Innocence Project asks for a $500 fee to book him to help maintain his living expenses and I would love nothing more to contribute to his well-being. The goal is to collect the money within the next 2 weeks to secure interview date!!

Any an all help is welcome!! Any funds raised that go above the projected goal will go towards studio fees and promotional materials for the podcast.
