I am a caregiver who dedicates my days to helping the elderly and people with disabilities. Last Wednesday, after finishing a shift caring for a client, I went outside to find that my truck had been towed from her house. There were no signs posted saying I couldn’t park there, and I’ve parked in that spot many times before without any issues. This unexpected situation has left me feeling overwhelmed and stuck, especially since I rely on my truck for work and for my family.
As a mother of three young children, one of whom has a disability, my truck is essential for getting to my clients and taking my son to his many appointments. With the holidays approaching, I was hoping to focus on making this season special for my kids, but now I’m faced with the challenge of getting my truck out of the tow yard. I work hard every day to care for others, but right now, I need a little help myself.
I am reaching out to my community for support. Anything you can give will help me get my truck back and continue providing care to those who need it most, as well as support my family during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
