My name is Amanda Montgomery and I have Cerebral Palsy I have been working with Medicare/Medicaid for more than a year to get a new electric wheelchair called the Permobil  M3 Corpus with Active Reach. The process has been slow but is moving in the right direction.
Due to a spinal fusion from T4 to L4 because of a severe Scoliosis and other  complications from my CP. The wheelchair I’m in right now doesn’t have the correct seating system in it because it is a replacement purchased by American Airlines. No measurements were taken to fit me, so I am in  excruciating pain and have had to have several medication ( meaning higher doses of my pain meds) changes because of it! I need a very specific seating system in my wheelchair which will make it to tall for me to get in or out on my own. 

 This is where we need your help!   I need something called Active Reach  which will make the chair tilt down to -5° bringing it down to my level and making me able to get kidnapped and out on my own.  Active Reach is not paid for by my insurance. I take pride in being as independent as possible and this feature will allow me to keep the independence I have, and also have more like cooking, washing dishes, baking, and even being at eye level with my friends 
please help me have a wheelchair perfectly made for me.
