hi everyone!

you may be aware of my hysterectomy situation. i’m so sorry to ask for help, but i’m putting this out there anyway. if you know my story, you know i’ve been pretty much bleeding uncontrollably since i was 10 years old. my diseases - adenomyosis and other chronic reproductive health issues - have deeply impacted my quality of life for about a decade.

i’ve finally found a provider who listened to me and confirmed that a hysterectomy is the next necessary step. it is booked for MAY 20th!!! this surgery could truly give me my life back. unfortunately, she is out of network with my insurance, which means i have to pay the full cost up front in order to access this care.

i already put down the $1,000 deposit today, but i need to raise the remaining $7,000 within the next five days for us to go forward. after the surgery, i’ll be able to submit a super bill to my insurance for possible reimbursement - however, that won’t come until after the procedure and isn’t guaranteed what i’ll get back.

if i do receive any reimbursement from insurance, that money will go directly toward lucille’s upcoming ear procedure and her ongoing medical care. she has her own health situations coming up and means the world to me.

i truly understand if you’re not in a position to give!! but if you are able to pitch in or share this, it would mean a LOT.
