Hey guys! It feels kind of silly having to do this, but I’ve had to move out of my parents' house as it became unsafe for me to live in and I’m trying to get my car back from them. My mom won’t let me take it because she paid for it. The car is in my name, so it is LEGALLY mine, but she’s threatened to call the cops if I don’t return the keys.

I want to cut all ties with her and my dad, but that can’t happen if I can’t pay it off. I’m currently saving up to try to move out of San Diego with my boyfriend, so I can’t afford to pay the full $5000 with my current job and would appreciate some assistance so I can finally be no contact with my parents. I would appreciate if you can donate what you can, or at the very least, share this around so I can pay off my debt faster.

Edit: I was able to get my car back, but I am expected to pay the full price back in 12 months (the total price is $5500).
