I'm a mom of a 4-year-old, and my mom and I recently got approved for an apartment, which is a big step for us. Just as I was starting to feel hopeful, my car was unexpectedly towed in Tijuana. With rent due in just a couple of days, I simply don't have the money to cover both getting my car back and keeping a roof over our heads.

Having my car is essential for us. It means I can get to work, take my daughter to fun places, and make sure we have the freedom to move around safely. Without it, everything becomes so much harder, especially as I try to build a stable home for my little girl.
