Hi, my name is Ellie and I am a single mum to 2. My daughter Florence is failure to thrive.

She did not gain weight from 5 weeks old, it stayed static for a while and then it drastically dropped eventually she started putting on again however she has now started losing weight again (she is classed as failure to thrive).

Her arms and legs go purple/blue and she loses power in her arms when this happens.

She is still very floppy.

She has regressed in her milestones and is delayed in development.

She is irritable, restless, and weak in her legs.

She chokes/sicks when I try to feed her with spoons etc was also a very sicky baby (however she does have a milk allergy)

She moves her hands and feet as if she has pins and needles.

She has had swelling at times.

Her temperature has dropped a couple of times.

The nhs is failing my daughter and has fobbed us off for near enough a year. We was holding hope on getting referred to addenbrookes however this has proved to be hard.

I am overwhelmed with all the love, advice and even hearing people want me to start a go fund me and would help towards giving us those answers for my princess means the world. I have finally decided to set up a go fund me like many people have asked this will be used to take her privately to get help … as everyone can imagine the costs are a lot and as a single mum with 2 children I cannot afford to pay for these myself , any donation will be so appreciated as it’ll all help towards getting the help she needs
