Help Me Get Life-Changing Surgery for Intestinal Malrotation
Donation protected
Intestinal malrotation is a rare condition. I live with the constant risk of a volvulus, a life-threatening complication where the intestines twist and cut off their own blood supply. If that happens, I could lose part of my intestine or even my life.
Despite the severity of this condition, very few surgeons specialize in treating adult malrotation. After months of searching for the right care, I finally found Dr. Kareem at the Cleveland Clinic. His surgical approach offers hope to give me a life with less pain and a better future. My surgery is currently scheduled for May 29th.
Right now, I can’t do the things I love. I miss being active. I miss hiking with my husband. I miss the freedom of a life not controlled by pain. This surgery could change everything.
Unfortunately, traveling for specialized care comes with overwhelming expenses like medical costs, travel, lodging, and time away from work.
That’s why I’m asking for help. Every donation or share gets me one step closer to a life without pain.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and generosity means so much.
