Hi, my name is Lorena Rivas, and I'm reaching out with hope and gratitude in my heart. I’ve been living with endometriosis for years—a condition that has deeply affected every aspect of my life, including my ability to do the work I love most.

I’m an early childhood educator, and working with young children is my greatest passion. Being a positive, nurturing presence in their lives brings me so much joy. But this illness has made it increasingly difficult to give them—and their families—my best.

Despite trying every available treatment, nothing has brought long-term relief. After extensive research and consultation, I’ve found a specialist who offers excision surgery, the gold standard treatment for endometriosis. This procedure, scheduled for **December 2025**, offers real hope for healing and a significantly better quality of life. Unfortunately, the costs are beyond what I can afford.

I’m raising $8,000 to cover:

• The surgeon’s fee

• Recovery-related costs

• Essential living expenses while I heal and cannot work
