I am a stay-at-home mom to two boys and one girl, and I am reaching out for help because I am facing a serious dental crisis. I inherited gum disease from my dad, and even though I have been to the dentist every six months my whole life, the gum disease has taken a devastating toll on my teeth. Over the years, my teeth have become broken, chipped, and black, and I can no longer eat anything hard. I am now on a soft food diet because my teeth simply can't handle anything else.
The pain is constant and overwhelming. I am in pain every single day, and nothing seems to help anymore. Orgel and pain relievers don't work for me, and my teeth are so sharp that they cut my tongue. I've tried every home remedy there is, but nothing brings relief. I was so hopeful when I finally got an appointment with the oral surgeon, but when I learned how much the surgery would cost, I was devastated. I've even called hospitals and clinics in my area, but none of them can help with the extractions I need. We simply don't have that kind of money lying around.
This situation has been incredibly hard on me and my family. We barely get by paying our bills each month, and my husband works hard, but we still struggle to make ends meet. As a mom, I always put my kids first, and there is never any extra money left for myself. The oral surgeon told me that I need to have 20 of my teeth surgically removed before I can be fit for bridges or dentures. This surgery is essential for me to be able to eat properly again, to relieve my pain, and to regain my confidence and quality of life.
I am asking for help because I simply can't afford this surgery on my own. If people could just donate a few dollars, anything would help. Any support you can give would mean the world to me and my family. Your kindness will help me get the treatment I need and allow me to be the best mom I can be for my kids. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation.
