Help me get healthy & strong!

Hi I’m Amy, you might know me as amyversuslife or you might not know me at all - YET anyway!

I’m 35 years young, I’ve lived with a neurological condition NF2 all my life. NF (neurofibromatosis) causes tumours on the nerves, mainly brain and cervical spine.

I had my first surgery age 10, that was a dangerous one, much like the ones that followed there’s been so many!

The tumours from NF2 are in dangerous areas in the body, so it’s definitely risky business!

They tend to be benign, but 2% of nf2 patients find that they can develop cancerous tumours. I won the world’s worst lottery 3 years ago on that one! Not once, but twice! I had brain surgery to remove malignant brain tumours in 2021 & 2022, followed by 30 days of radiation.

Since then, I’ve lost so much weight, I developed a difficulty speaking, eating, swallowing & more which has just been completely overlooked by everyone to be quite honest!

My biggest issue holding me back right now is my walking, after waiting for physio for over a year, I’m now completely house (if not bed!) bound.

I’m completely reliant on help for everything, I’m also a bit deaf, I need round the clock care.

There is no reason why I can’t recover my mobility, it might not be 100% because of all the nerve damage over the years, but it can be better!!

The system is failing the uk, it’s failing me! I have begged and I have cried and I have begged and cried some more to anyone who will “listen” to see if they can help me in any way, but help doesn’t seem to be on the way any time soon, I’ve been begging for over a year now, I can’t live like this!

I am hoping you can kindly donate to me so that I can get going again! Some treatments I’d like to access include private healthcare, neuro physio, alternative therapies including a pioneering non invasive cancer treatment that is available in Istanbul, or other world wide treatments I’m open! I so desperately want to improve my life for my sake and my long suffering family who deal with all the work to care for me!
