I’m raising funds for essential hand surgery after a routine procedure did not go as planned.

I underwent carpal tunnel release surgery, but unfortunately complications occurred, and my hand now requires reconstructive surgery. At the moment, I have limited use of my hand and have been unable to work my normal hours while waiting for treatment.

This surgery is necessary to restore function, reduce pain, and help me regain independence so I can return to work and daily life.

Even with private health insurance, the out-of-pocket costs are significant, and I do not have the savings to cover them. The gap estimate is $4594.35. This doesn't include ongoing costs for physio, medications or daily life.

24 March Update.

I have had Surgery to restore function in my dominant hand. I am now looking at weekly therapy, medications and Ongoing specialists appointments. My therapy is 2.5hrs away (one way) and the specialist is 4.5hrs (one way). I've been told that this will be a very long and slow journey.
