Howdy,
I am scheduled for myomectomy, fibroid removal surgery, on July 30th. I have numerous fibroids, but they will be removing the 5 largest tumors and checking for endometriosis.
Unfortunately, insurance doesn’t cover the cost of the entire procedure, I don’t have enough PTO for the full 4-6 week recovery period, and my Short-Term Disability (if approved) requires a 2 week wait period before covering only 60% of my income. Yep, I’m financially screwed.
