Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser for a very special dog named Cash.

Cash is a 9-year-old Beagle mix, a gentle and calm soul who truly deserves a peaceful and loving home. He’s what the shelter calls a “Bashful Buddy,” which means he may be a little shy at first and needs some time to open up—but once he does, he forms deep and meaningful bonds. Dogs like Cash aren’t loud or overly energetic; they’re quiet companions who just want to feel safe, understood, and loved.

He enjoys simple things—slow walks around the neighborhood, calm environments, and small moments of connection. He’s not demanding, just sensitive and thoughtful in his own way. He’s also been through a lot in his life, including a past Lyme disease diagnosis (with no symptoms since 2018), and he’ll need some support with weight management and regular vet check-ups to stay healthy.

From the moment I learned about him, I felt a connection I can’t fully explain. I’ve been preparing myself mentally and emotionally to welcome a dog like Cash into my life—not just as a pet, but as a companion I can care for, grow with, and give genuine love to.

This fundraiser is to help me create the right conditions to bring Cash home and give him the stable, calm, and caring environment he truly deserves.
