Help me get back to safety.

I am in a situation that is getting scarier by the day. I moved in with my spouse a little over a year ago and thats when it all started. The abuse has escalated, and continues to escalate. I lost my job a month ago, and I have an opportunity to leave, but no funds to do so.

For clarity I have been enduring everything except for physical violence up until this point. I have been "jokingly" slapped a few times, and ive witnessed him throwing one of my cats, so I know it will eventually come to that and I would like to leave before enduring that. (I of course confronted him and he claimed he was sleeping). Its gotten worse since losing my job because he knows im stuck. I have reached out to my previous employer and apartment complex, and can go back to where I was before moving here and get my old job back, but I need help. Ive never asked for financial help before, and its embarrassing, but I am scared of what happens next, and desperate. My personal safety and the safety of my pets are at stake.

Im afraid to put too many identifying stories in this because he might see it. I used to be very active on Facebook and i stopped because of him accosting me every time i posted. Im afraid to be on my phone around him, and even while im typing this, he has tried to sneak up on me to see what im doing. I just want out. I have somewhere to go, I just need some help. Please.
